Redemption Hill Church, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a vibrant faith community dedicated to fostering meaningful worship experiences and building strong connections among its members. With a mission to inspire and engage, the church sought to create a new sanctuary that would elevate their worship services and support their growing congregation. This ambitious project aimed to blend cutting-edge technology with thoughtful design, resulting in a state-of-the-art space that reflects their values and vision.
VISION
To bring this vision to life, we developed a comprehensive and complete solution, beginning with a detailed 3D laser scan design of the auditorium and stage. Every element was meticulously planned to ensure optimal functionality and aesthetic appeal. A significant focus was placed on acoustics, where advanced analysis informed the implementation of angled back walls, 3-inch acoustic treatments, and diffusion panels. We use a program called Treble Tech for a specifically designed 3D rendering of the space. This approach allowed us to achieve a precise acoustic curve, balancing reverb across all frequencies for exceptional speech intelligibility and musical resonance. The result is a space that feels expansive yet intimate, supporting a wide range of worship and community activities.
EQUIPMENT CHOICES
The sanctuary’s technical infrastructure is equally impressive. We installed d&b 24S mains and 21S subwoofers for expansive audio coverage, paired with the Allen & Heath dLive S5000 console for precision control. Lighting design was enhanced with Environmental Lights in all of the performance rooms, creating a dynamic and immersive atmosphere, while the GrandMA3 Command Wing in the main sanctuary provided advanced lighting control. The integration process seamlessly incorporated these new systems alongside Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) repurposed from the church’s previous building, ensuring continuity and cost efficiency. The result is a technologically advanced sanctuary that combines innovation, functionality, and spiritual inspiration, perfectly serving the needs of Redemption Hill Church and its growing community.
